Through a lot of my life til my late twenties, I realize I was taking steps based on what I felt was expected or what others had done as opposed to what I desired in my life. I was living by default in many areas.

A way I’ve found to keep myself on track, is to re-assess how I’m going in my life’s priority areas each 3 months. Am I tolerating projects I don’t love, are my relationships meaningful, are my energy levels ideal for me?…are there any areas where I’m just going through the motions?

When I realised I’d slipped into default, I decided to hire a coach. I chose someone who understood what I wanted to achieve, held me accountable and walked with me to grow in the directions I wanted.

Do you, or someone you know, see more for yourself?

Message me, if you’re curious about what your next step could be to have more of what you do want in your life.

And in the meantime, I’ll see you on this week’s #AliveWithFi ?

1We are trained to doubt and fear, which often leads us to doing what we believe we are supposed to do. Yet, I challenge you to “ask yourself, what sort of life do you choose to lead: one of comfort, dissatisfaction, and surety, or one of adventure, fulfillment, and the thrill of diving into the unknown?” Aren’t we all worth leading lives shaped by design and not default? “How to Get Past Doubt and Do What You Really Want to Do” J.
