I enjoyed meeting Aliesha at one of my ‘Healthy aging, naturally’ workshops and was impressed with the way she juggled her many roles, including busy mother, entrepreneur and owner of a boutique food store north of Auckland, New Zealand.

This theme we focused on is one that seems to be popular 1, although one I’ve found is often approached as being more complex than it needs to be. If it’s one that interests you or someone you know, a heads-up that we will be running similar workshops online in the coming months.

Wondering where to start?

Check out these 3, easy-to-remember tips below, to help you to literally OWN your health and the process to create it for yourself.

  1. O is for oxygenation. It’s important to make sure that we get sufficient oxygen to our cells. This includes making sure we’re in clean air environments, and practicing deep breathing regularly.
  1. W is for water. Our systems are more than just plumbing, so staying hydrated in a way that’s ideal for us is crucial. This is based on our metabolism and how hydrated or processed the foods we eat are.
  1. N is for nutrition. Our cells need macro and micro-nutrients in a safe and effective form. And not just adequate or OK levels – these levels need to be OPTIMAL.

1 Many of us can end up at some time or another, wrestling with the idea of aging. Research is now showing that “it’s possible that people who age well are wired for optimism and blessed with great genes. But there are also secrets to aging well, no matter what your health or life circumstances. You have more control over your physical and emotional destiny than you may think.”

Keep your eyes peeled for our upcoming ‘Healthy aging, naturally’ workshops.
