Which questions are you asking yourself to become a master-asker?
The core questions we ask are centred around – Who, What, When, How and Why.
It can be handy to avoid asking ourselves or other people ‘Why’ questions because it can put us in an adversarial-type of situation. What and who and when questions are far more task oriented and tend to help us find a better response.
Tony Robbins talks quite a bit about asking questions and explains that ‘the quality of your life is the quality of your questions or the questions you ask yourself.’ ¹
3 Important Questions
In fact there are 3 questions that Tony has often mentioned that can be game-changers.
The first question is What can I do for someone else today?
The second question is What can I do to add value to the world today?
Number three is What can I offer to other people today?
I’ve certainly found that when I ask myself questions about How can I overcome this or who do I need to talk to or when do I need to talk to them, then it’s far more empowering to find a solution.

I really believe that the quality of our life is a result of the quality of our internal state. So how I’m feeling about my day will definitely determine the feelings that I’m having – which is a result of the questions that I’m asking myself.
