Are yours?

Productivity guns going for it, I mean?

For the longest time, mine weren’t. I often used to be busy being busy and just feel like I was spinning my wheels – until I changed my approach.

When it comes to getting into gear with our productivity, here are the top 3 tips that helped me, and maybe handy for you or someone you know –

  1. Plan your priorities the night before, pick 1 to do first and get that 1 thing

It’s easy to get into doing ‘stuff’ rather than focusing on the activities that give us results. By results, I mean those ones that are actually based on our values and goals. Picking 3 and prioritizing 1 helps me really put my focus where it needs to be. 1

  1. Hydrate!

More often than not, most of us are actually dehydrated.  When we’re thirsty, it’s too late. I’ve been amazed by the difference I experience in mental clarity when I’m hydrated.

As a general guide to help us stay hydrated, drink 2litres of clean, filtered water (warm or cool) a day. It can help to add a squeeze of lemon, whilst remembering that tea, coffee and sodas don’t count!

  1. Practice the mighty pause.

Sometimes, simply stopping and pausing lets us reset and create the space to intentionally choose the next step (rather than falling down a facebook- or IG-rabbit hole).

I’m curious to hear if these tips are ones you already use.

In the meantime, I look forward to seeing you for this week’s #AliveWithFi 😊
