What makes a place become home for you? 1

For me it used to be a physical home: the most significant ones being the 2 family homes where I grew up in the South of England, and the house in Auckland where Chris and I made our first real nest together.

These days, it’s all about people.

Home has metamorphosed from place to experience and is now based on being with my family and ‘framily’ (those beautiful friends we get to choose as our family).

As always, I love hearing your thoughts on this one – and we’ll dive deeper on this idea of home in this week’s #AliveWithFi

Ciao for now ?

1Home is what we choose, and whatever that may be, “Dorothy was spot-on: There’s no place like it.” “What Does Home Mean to You?”
