Financial Health Coach, Chris Folland, has a question for us this week that may not be what it first seems.

Over to Chris with this week’s question…

Would you want to have the choice? We’re referring here to the choice to have a travel lifestyle.

Some people choose to travel, some people aren’t in a position to right now. Some people choose to own their own home, some people aren’t in a position to right now.

Some people choose to have a 3-day work week, some people aren’t in a position to right now.

So what’s the point of the question, would you want to have a choice?

Well, we all have choices and it’s the choices that we make at the front end of our lives that gives us our choices towards the latter end of our lives. 1

So what are these choices we have?

Well, you may choose to increase your desire for more in life or you may not. You could choose to develop skills – ones to allow you to be more valuable in the marketplace, or not.

You could choose to create an asset alongside what you’re currently doing to earn some extra income or not because it’s clear that cutting the $20-a-month Netflix subscription isn’t going to make you wealthy. You’re going to need to increase your income.

You have a choice, you can do it or not.

You have a choice to find yourself a mentor or not.

So these are all the little choices that can mean we have the ability to make various choices in life which including travel, or owning our own home, having more time to do what we want to do and around what you’re already doing at work or with family commitments.

Do you want to have the choice?

The choice is up to you!

This is Chris Folland, signing off, wishing you a fabulous week ahead, and trusting that you make some valuable choices in your own life!

I’ll see you at this week’s #AlivewithFi.

1The place of choice is the crossroads between feeling fulfilled and aligning with your own values. Only after you have identified the place of choice can you move on to the point of decision, which is where you finally consider all options and decide what to do.
